Help identifying campagnolo headset
Hello,
this is my first post.
recently Ive started scouring craigslist for bike parts (i'm working on assembling my first bike)
I came across this headset.
can anyone help me identify which campagnolo category it is? it came with super record pedals but it looks slightly different from other super record headsets I've seen on the internet. (together the headset and pedals were $60).

Thanks!

How can you tell the difference? Is there a number somewhere on the parts to ID which?

I vote abused. Who was the mechanic? Don't let him near your bike.

Used a chisel to remove the bottom and top cup from the head tube! Quality parts don't always meet quality people.

Ugh, awful. I use a piece of copper tubing with a cap on one end. I use the un-capped end to tap out the cups / races. The copper isn't hard enough to damage steel. After a while it gets bent over and I use a tubing cutter to cut a cm or so off, then start again. One tube will last years, given how rarely I need it. I didn't invent this method, I learned it from member Grand Bois, on this site.

Thanks to all that responded. I think it might be an early c-record.
yes. for sure. this headset was not well taken care of. but it was cheap, complete, and good enough to use, which is good enough for me.
all best

Campy headset
I know I'm WAY late to the part, but it looks just like Athena (from VeloBase)...

C-Record lacks the bevel at the top iirc.

From what I've seen, the stamping of the model name took place on 1996 versions, anything before did not.
