Anyone ever replace Super Record plates on a rear der?

I have a Super Record rear derailleur with a broken cable mount. I have a donor derailleur that I can get a replacement outside plate from. How do I disassemble the four pivots on the body of the derailleur? I've always heard this was possible but I've never seen it done. Any special tools needed?
