Bikes: 72 maino-76 austro daimler inter 10-? giant kronos

Maybe just a frame question...

I have 2 similar bikes-the ques is which one to keep? Both around the same year-(85-87) Respectivley: Fuji 450 SE and Terry Despatch. No brainer on the Terry-has suntour cyclone 7000 index shift. but easily switchable. The frames are Tange 1 vs Valite quad butted. I may point out that the fuji has a 27" rear and a (schwinn sz) 24 front-whereas the Terry has a 700c rear and a 520? front wheel. So I'm thinking it comes down to frame? Both are japan made/components not that hard to switch. Any opinions out there?

Go with whichever fits you best. After that, the one with the nicer color.

1/2" diff in the frame size/one headtube is 1" longer than the other-so no real determining factor there. The fuji has a nice headbadge vs none on the Terry-paint seems nicer on the fuji-but the frame seems a little heftier too/hence my question of frame materials? Easier to find tires etc on the Terry/yet I could switch them over as well.....

Bikes: Too many to list here check my signature.

Those 450s were nice bikes but in your cleats I think I would keep the Terry

Is the reasoning based on rarity? The diff in the front wheels is quite large/even tho both being labeled "24". I heard somewhere (prob on this forum) that the style was pioneered by someone else (not G. Terry) However the Fuji and Terry are around the same year in manufacture. If I had the room I'd keep both-but I'm over my limit with 3 (LOL) In a perfect world........;
