Chris is this a test? I would think you would now by now that we need the whole photo spread. Close ups of the lugs (if any) and text on the dropouts etc
At first glance I was thinking Huffy or roadmaster but it does have a RD hanger huh?

kind of. it is a test that will not have an answer until next week. I had a friend pick it up for me a year ago thinking it was a cimmaron. never was able to meet up with him to retrieve it. i pulled up this pic (which I saved from the ad) yesterday and started to think I was wrong... though i didn't consider I could have been as far off as a roadmaster...haha.
I appreciate you taking a shot. your answer probably lowered my potential disappointment

Not a huffy or roadmaster. Doesn't look like a Cimmaron either. What it is I don't know, but it looks to have a decent group on it.

I would have guessed Schwinn Sierra but none of the later Sierra bikes came in black with a decent Shimano group. Is that a rattle can paint job, can you ask your friend if he can tell? It could be one of those early 90's model (Crosscut, etc.), right before they went under. It's definitely huge! If that seat post is put up to a typical height, you must be at least 6'3" or tall.

I'm looking forward to more details next week, keep us posted, thanks for sharing!

Why don't any of us have that N.C.I.S. photo software that they use to identify a person in a dead guys pupil?

Much to my surprise it says Paramount
Lol but it's not. It appears to be an 1988 impact . Perfectly fine bike, painted and decaled to look like a paramount, and somehow fooled me into thinking it's a cimarron. Has surgino cycloid cranks which are kind of interesting.
