Sidney Bechet "V-disc Blues" Pretty decent sound quality for a YouTube.

(I don't think the disc in question is connected to a 29er MTB...)

I've got a bike,
you can ride it if you like.
It's got a basket,
a bell that rings
And things to make it look good.
I'd give it to you if I could,

but I borrowed it.

Toccata and Fugue in F major.
The C major Toccata, Adagio, and Fugue is good too.

While not nearly as "vintage" as what I often listen to, I've been enamored with this tune lately.
As far as cool factor goes, not many equal this guy, in my opinion. A great tune.

Heard this on the radio not long ago. "I'm into Something Good" by Earl-Jean McRea. Always sorta liked the Hermans Hermits version, but this is a much more soulful, raw, honest rendition. Captures the era ti a tee. And of course Carol King is just the best pop song writer ever.

Etta James. Ella Fitzgerald. The Kinks. All on the playlist as we rolled through North Dakota last night headed for Mt. Rushmore.

I'm pretty big on jazz in general, lots of big band swing in my collection along with some Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, Gerry Mulligan, Coleman Hawkins, John Coltrane, and more (it'd be a long list.)

There are so many great renditions of Cole Porter's tunes, but I rather like listening to him sing them. I love his lyrics.
I really like Chet Baker. He recorded a lot of standards that are my favorite vocal take of that tune. I really like his version of "That Old Feeling." But, for some reason I wanted to post this one.
