Thanks! They are some type of Mavic tubular rims. Going for that Crown Royal look!

Bikes: they change so much I'm tired of updating this

I took this for a very short and slow ride yesterday. Something about riding an 86 year old bike, just makes me smile.

Bikes: Bikes??? Thought this was social media?!?

I got out for a C&V Sunday.

Mis-matched tires really look bad don't they?
Will fix a few flat tires on Monday. Maybe.

Bikes: Yes, please.

Between rain showers and birthday parties I managed to get some wrenching and greasing done. Just the bar tape remains to be applied.

Great pictures. I love your family picture, Velognome.

My wife and I went to the Bike Cult show in Brooklyn and Queens. We saw the most excellent exhibit of Dick Power bicycles from the 50's. That was actually the guy's name.

Then we saw modern hand built bikes.

Pictures are uploading now...

Love the Mercier! Loos fantastic.

We only got out for a short ride (normally this ends up with a similar rehydration exercise as Velognome, but sadly not this Sunday), but we did have a nice ride together:

Forgive the slightly shaky action shots - hard to aim and press the button on these modern gizmos while you are riding....

Bikes: Too many to list here check my signature.

My C&V Sunday was devoted to some small repairs and getting a bike ready for ebay. I did go see 100 Foot Journey and two of main characters were riding bikes for transport and one had a nice looking old Randonneurer with the shifter on the TT and those cool mini tool boxes on the rack.

This is great looking!
