Show your Vitus 979
Please direct me to a previous thread if this has been done already.
I recently received a Vitus 979 frame from a friend. I always considered getting one back in the day but was one of many at the time who thought they were not up to par with other offerings of the time. Well 28 years later I stand corrected.
The bike is a pleasure to ride and all the concerns regarding flex and frame integrity are not an issue. Of the many other bikes I've owned and ridden, the Vitus is a personal favorite.

Success!
This one is branded Gitane from 1987. Not as pristine as the others but still rides like a dream after much use. It has been my commuter bike for the past month.
