Resource for past pro teams?

Is there a resource or resources that gives information on previous professional cycling teams in which one might find information about sponsors, bikes ridden, team members etc.?

It can be tricky to trace a team's lineage.

For example, the current Movistar team started out as the legendary Reynolds team in the 80s. Then it became Banesto in the Indurain years. Then it morphed into iBanesto.com as the main sponsor spiraled into bankruptcy. In a brief period of time it flipped from Illes Balears-Banesto, Illes Balears-Caisse d'Epargne and Caisse d'Epargne-Illes Baleare before finally becoming Movistar.
