What Size Headset and BB?
I am probably going to replace the StrongLight headset on my 1985 (?) Olmo Firenze with Campy NR. I might also replace the bb with a Campy NR, too, although it feels just fine.
How can I find out what size headset and bb I need for this bike? It's obviously Italian threading - but what about size of headset and size (?) of bb (it's a six speed freewheel).
Any help will be appreciated - Thanks

For the headset, there are two dimensions - diameter (which is likely either 1" or possibly 1-1/8"; and stack height - which is how tall everything is (top race, lower race, nuts and brake support [if a center pull]) when you take it off the bike. I don't know exactlyhow tall various models are, but I think a Campagnolo NR is somewhere around 34 cm. There's probably some reference out on the web, but I don't know where.
