I picked the following bike at a Salvation Army sale.
Identification:
Peugeot carboliite 103 12speed Ser.# Y41' 24179 with a stamped triangle on bottom bracket
Shamino F & R derailers
Shamino shifters Z 401
Nevar crankset
Lyotard pedals
Wiennmen center pull F/R brakes
Maillard heliomatic rear hub, maillard front hub
Decal says made in France
Aluminum 27' rims
Touring handle bars
Color- sparkle blue
Women's or old geezer ( like me!) frame. Any help with build date will be appreciated

What TMar said. Lots of things put it around 84. The "Made in France" stickers appeared in 1979 I think; earlier Pugs lack this (at least the ones I have do). The Helio rear wheel places it in that time. I believe 84 is towards the end of carbolite in Peugeot framesets. Original derailleurs were likely Sachs ecos.

As there is no agreed upon definition to the term vintage, we accept most anything for consideration. 20+ years is the cutoff some use, and this bike falls in that range.
