I borrowed a beard so I could play!

Beardy man (mine!) on his bike... on a bridge. It was probably the last ride we'll get in this year-he doesn't do cold well despite the fluffy beard- so it was a long one. And he was a bit tired around the almost home mark.

Bikes: blue ones.

No beard no more. GF's orders. Ah well, it was a frankenbeard anyway with all kinds of red, blonde and dark hairs in the mix.

I don't have a beard, but I have a dog, and he has a beard, so here we go:

Admittedly he doesn't have a bike. I'd get him one, but I don't think he'd ride it. Must be a beard thing.

This was taken on an around-town ride a winter or two ago on my '92ish Rockhopper. No current pics on a bike.

I recognized those locations right away. Nice to see someone else from the WB area. I sometimes ride the Levee starting in Plymouth, across the river to Hanover Twp, through WB, across to Kirby Park, and sometimes continue from Forty Fort to Wyoming... That is my local ride, and parts of which I will ride if I ever commute to work in WB.

But I love to drive up to White Haven and ride the Black Diamond trail.

Me on the right as I was shrinking it down in the spring. Full beard for the winter. Clean shaven in the summer. On the Trek 560, riding in North Birmingham AL.

I go in cycles. Beard for 9 months to a couple years then I shave it after too many complaints about scratchiness. Go clean shaven for ~3 months until I get tired of shaving every day, then the beard comes back. Wash, rinse, repeat. Always repeat.

noglider Tell them the secret to that mustache! It's actually illegal in 3 countries and considered a religious relic in 4. And at least you have a helmet. I will be trying to re-introduce a helmet to my head when i get back on the bike in the spring after not wearing one for ages. Should be interesting....

Two secrets to the mustache: 1. judicious trimming, and 2. Clubman wax. Now what's this you're saying about illegal and religious?

For Noglider..yes. I was told once that facial hair becomes a beard only when you can see it without a mirror.
