If you rode here at the NSC Velodrome you would be able to change your tires in no time.

They wear very quickly on the boards.
Cool! It's not easy to make you jealous!

No boards here, just a track with cracked asphalt. I'm more likely to replace a rim before my tires wear out. Sad, huh? Hey, it matches our streets!

Anyway, the next set of tires will be tan walls.

For those who don't know, Kissena Velodrome is asphalt on top of a swamp. There isn't a hope in hell of keeping it smooth. As Jim says, it's like riding NYC streets. But it's our velodrome, so we love it. We're lucky to have it. I don't mind, because we're all in it together. It's not as if it gives some people an advantage over others.

Now I would love someone to solve the mystery of the fourth turn.

They are Vittoria Rubino Specials clinchers.

Reasonably high thread count and high inflation, so hopefully they'll be ok...

Fantastic job on the build Giacomo 1, I love it. I hope it's as fast as it looks! Never seen that Brooks before, either.

Thank you devin!

I'm sure it will be a fast bike, but my aging legs will likely never test the limits!

The Brooks is a bit odd. It looks very nice IMO, but it's not very comfortable, but on this bike comfort wasn't a consideration...
