Bikes: More than I care to admit

BOOM.

3. A vintage Italian classic. Something in chrome would be nice...
4. All-expense-paid trip to L'Eroica.

In that order.

- new liquid paint job for the Sekai Bigfoot
- a bike that is designed for 650b wheels that is not new - at least from the 1960's to early '90's.
- a bench vise & appropriate place to mount it
- supply of various interesting bike fenders different sizes, colors, etc.
- various quality tires in sizes - Big Apple, Ruffy Tuffy, etc.
- endless supply cables, housing, ferrules, tips, etc.
- would love to stumble upon a bike that the owner or I don't recognize as a true classic, that's a good fit, all original, and that they give to me because I helped them out in some random way. Later to find out its a real gem.

And finally, I would like a continued zest and enthusiasm for tinkering with, rejuvenating, and revitalizing old bikes.
...I think maybe hanging out in here is not good for you.

3alarmer - yeah, I know.

Really though, I'd like to have more knowledge & zest for bike mechanicals. I know that's a process and will come with time. I try, but am not always successful, not to be too "attached" to material objects. In this culture, though, it can be a challenge.

Now, does anyone know of any awesome deals?!

Bikes: 1962 Rudge Sports, 1971 Raleigh Super Course, 1971 Raleigh Pro Track, 1974 Raleigh International, 1975 Viscount Fixie, 1982 McLean, 1996 Lemond (Ti), 2002 Burley Zydeco tandem

I want my track frame to sell for an amount close to what I paid for it, since I bought it used.

Scratch that. I want a full time job.

Bikes: '73 Raleigh RRA, 1986 Trek 500 commuter

I've wanted one of these and spotted the Descente ones on Nashbar. They sold out in L ...

2) ride more (low this year)
3) lose weight
4) maybe a pair of tires for my Trek 500 commuter. Currently has 700x32 Avocet Cross 32s, but these are really tight with the fenders and not sure how old they are. Suggestions welcome.

Dear Santa, for Christmas I want

> Ride the Dairyland Dare with all the Midwest C&Vr's

> Spend a few weeks riding with the East Coast C&Vr's (you need to give them all some free time to join us):

Ride D2R2 with Southpaw then spend time with him in the Catskills showing us all the great routes

Then descend on Jimmuller and JJS's home turf for some graveyard and historical tours of New England

That is very kind thing to to say. Thank you.

If you do get over to this coast, bring it on! We'll go for a ride! It might include my sweetie on the tandem. If you need a bike, I can supply, with real toe clips.
