Water cycle?

Has anybody seen or heard of a vintage vehicle like in this old German postcard?
Obviously related to the penny farthing.

I have seen water tricycles when I did a search for them. Also seen them at resort type places. As far as the high wheeler as shown in this postcard I think that physics would prove this type of bike is impossible. But I bet as soon as I say that someone is going show a picture of one and show it in use.

Considering that this postcard also shows a horse walking on water suspended by a balloon, I wouldn't put too much stock in its depiction of reality.

The caption at the top suggests it was originally a chocolate label. The caption at the bottom reads "water walking in the year 2000" so it depicts the future, as imagined way back when (1885?).

"Waterwalking in the year 2000"

Awesome. Now how about those flying cars, huh?

A pretty fanciful illustration, here's a genuine contraption I've posted here before:

Here's a video of a contemporary watercycle that someone has worked out:

Hildebrands German Chocolate brings you water walking fun in the year 2000.

The Kinder and gnädige Frau must have loved it back in the 1900s.

Here is a modern water cycle for you... or at least a smart guy who used old technology in a new way.

People become immune to the forces of water in the year 2000.

Oh water, where is thy sting?

Another German postcard advertising air filled bicycle tires.
At least the seller said the card is German.
I notice the beer in the foreground, and the tired bike in the back.
Guess that's was to get attention !
