Spending money before the check clears?
Nice deal, looks like a 24" frame. You can recover half the $80 by selling the generator light set. I did that to drop acquisition cost on a LeTour III Mixte to $20.

Plans for this one...

(1) Change out the crankset (but I will retain the original Ashtabula...JIC I sell it)
(2) New "consumables" - tires (yes...probably Panaracer Paselas!), cables, chain, handlebar tape (Newbaum's...my favorite!...probably in brown to match the saddle)
(3) Remove the generator and light...although I might keep them...they are kinda retro-cool looking...depends on working condition
(4) And...of course...start a fight about the saddle and how to condition a Brooks saddle...anyone here have an opinion on that?
(5) Finally...and...of course...good cleaning, waxing, greasing, derusting, polishing...

Ready to ride in...oh...8 years!

Asking for that kind of help here is like dropping into the neighborhood bar to ask for some help with a drinking problem!

I counted only 21 bikes in your signature. Hell, you're just getting started

Fillet brazed, cool shifters, nice n+1. However I fear your affliction may be incurable.

That's a nice Super Sport! It looks very much like the Sports Tourer I picked up this summer. I had to pay considerably more for mine though. As far as N+1 goes - I told my wife that I would stop about 5 bikes ago...
As found condition:

Whenever I think of Super Sports, I think of the dark green one- and then I think of this:

That's so stupid, why have more than one bike? You can only ride one, the rest just clutters up the garage..... Oh wait, that's my wife! I can't help you, sorry.

Guess I am lucky there...my wife actually CONTRIBUTES to the addiction at times...she has given me the entire garage to use...
