New Years Eve Purchase!!

Picked up a 1984 Miyata 610 today! This will be my project bike for the rest of the winter. Only had to drive 30 minutes to the buyer who also had a 1000 that he was not ready to part with. Oh well.
Pics to follow!
Happy New Years!!

Bikes: The keepers: 1969 Magneet Sprint, 1971 Gitane Tour de France, 1973 Raleigh Twenty, 3 - 1986 Rossins.

Enjoy! You got a beauty to build.

New Year's projects on this end are: 1. Finish the restoration of a Yugoslavian single speed folder for the fiance'. We're getting married in April, and the honeymoon will be in St. Augustine. As it will be the first time I'm there since 1957 without either a motorcycle (Bike Week) or re-enactment gear (Drake's Raid), we're just going to do the tourist bit with lots of bar hopping. I've got my Raleigh Twenty for getting around, this bike is for Maggie's use. 2. Picked up a third Rossin at Westminster this past February. This one will be built Campy Super Record. Yep, I'm finally going to build a Campagnolo bike. 3. 1979 PX-10, frame was professionally restored for me (have to pick it up sometime in the next couple of weeks), to be built to original specs.

Good luck with it! I thought I was going to end up with a Bianchi Campione d'Italia today...but...so far, it has not worked out...maybe later in the week!
