Romic. Help!

I'm home with a back injury, buzzed up on pain pills and with a serious case of cabin fever.

I am eagerly awaiting Jags Romic frame/fork to be delivered and I'm kicking around build scenarios. While my Tomii was a major splurge, the Romic will be a back to earth build.
I plan to use Gen.1 Dura Ace stuff although a friend has some 600 Arabesque parts that he might part with. Or should I just go modern with it?

The plan is to get down to two bikes. My Tomii and the Romic.
Any +1 bikes to collect will be custom frames in my size.

What would you use to build up the Romic?

Congrats on picking up that frame - it would've been me if I wasn broke. I love 1st gen dura ace and think it would look splendid on that bike. So would arabesque for that matter so you can't go wrong!

Bikes: A few ;)

700c with Challenge PR's, no fenders, 1st DA, and as much shiny parts as your eyes can handle. Add a nice saddlebag, pack a lunch and disappear for the day.

The more pictures you show, the less inclined I am to think it needs a repaint.....

I have some VO Zeppelin fenders for it

You'll find out in a few days when it arrives! I wrapped the tubes loosely with sandpaper and used rocks instead of packing peanuts. I needed to ensure that I wouldn't regret my decision to let it go You'll need a chain stay bridge spacer for fender install, I used a wine cork.
