GALETTI 1970 ca

I bought this GALETTI for 100 euros and you see it almost as found. For this job I only needed to buy new tyres and a new handlebar tape. Then it's been "just a matter of cleaning" and a little screwdriver job on front derailleur for a perfect tuning. The bike is actually equipped with a San Marco Rolls saddle not displayed on pictures and new original decals kindly coming from the builder itself (Galetti is still in business in the neighborhoods of Padova, Italy).

Frame Galetti - Made in Italy
Wheels Nisi
Crankset Huret
Front/rear derailleur Huret
Brakes Universal 125
Handlebar 3ttt
Saddlebar 3ttt

Bikes: they change so much I'm tired of updating this

Very nice bike, and great pics. I can build bikes but I couldn't take a decent picture of them if I had to.

It shows, now if your bike was on fire, I could handle that. It does take a special talent to get good pics, and that I don't have.

Bikes: Yes, please.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing it. Is that crank set actually a Huret? If so, I'd love to see a close-up picture of it.

Got that Rembrandt lighting. Very nice.
What is it? Key light to fill ratio or something?

Thanks. What I actually meant was the guarnitura. Is that a Huret as well?

Nice to see a Huret-equiped Italian bike, BTW.

Very mysterious mood lighting - I can tell it's going to be a strong love affair with your new bike. Lovely bike and a bargain purchase price. Congratulations.

Your pictures are excellent.

"Crankset" is a word in American English. The British English equivalent is "chainset." It refers to the crank arms and chainrings (also known as chainwheels). When you refer to the crankset, you appear to be showing us derailleurs. Can you please show us the crank arms and chainrings? Thanks.

Nice photography job, as expected from a professional, and quite a nice looking bicycle, too. Glad that you stopped by, both here in C&V and in the 50+ Forum, welcome aboard, sir.

Bikes: A green one, "Ragleigh," or something.

Chiaroscuro works particularly well with silver frames, methinks.
