Need a new RD

I am now looking for a new RD for my 1984 Miyata 610. The hubs(8 speed cassette) and rims(700c) are on their way. I am going indexed.
I am thinking a long cage RD but would like one that "goes with" this bike. Shiny is better!!
Thoughts??
Thanks!

I personally think the 9 speed series of Shimano stuff looks really good on vintage bikes. Something like a 6500 long cage with or without the logo removed (it's pretty low key, anyway).

A late 1980`s Deore should be able to climb 8.
