I like the utility of MKS GR-10 pedals (paired with toe clips), allowing me to wear any type of shoe. Are there any pedals similar to these, popular in the mid-to-late 80's, that would help me stay with the (sometimes elusive) period-correct theme?

But...who's got 'em is a tougher question.
They would even work well with the wingtip crowd.

I need a smooth-entry pedal, so even a ridged-bottom tennis shoe would slide into the clips/straps.
I imagine the bear-traps would work well without the toe clips.
I'm giving serious thought to the MKS Urban Platforms...

i have always liked the Campy Triomphe pedals. they are mid-late 80's. flat platform overall for everyday shoes and also works with old style bike shoes with the slots on the bottom. and they look great! i add a plastic pull tie as they don't have a little thingy to help flip them.
