I actually thought about doing just this. Even heading to the thrift store if I couldn't find a match at home!

Well--- if I can only use this saddle on an '80s bike and with denim bar wrap, I only have two choices and both have a hint of blue in the decals.

'83 Schwinn Paramount

'87 Schwinn High Sierra

Of course, this could be the perfect excuse to acquire a new '80s bike and build it up around this saddle.

Speaking of which, @noglider, you can't blame a guy for trying to match things up from time to time. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we don't. I won't loose any sleep if I can't. Honestly, IMO, I didn't care for it on the '71 Paramount. The Cambium shape looked too modern, at least for my tastes. Of course I say that realizing you can never see a saddle when you are riding.

I think the denim saddle looks sharp on your Paramount. It might also look good on an orange, yellow or black bike, depending on the color of decals and trim.

I'm not saying matching is useless. I'm saying nothing matches the denim saddle but that's OK. It is destined to be a contrast, not a match.

I vote for dressing the High Sierra in denim. The saddle of course but must re-wrap the bars in denim cloth!

C15 is coming in Black Canvas on Black Rubber makes more sense than black on Beige gum rubber colored base.

Tom, but I must try to find a match! I must!

Not a bad idea.

The suggestion to try this out on the yellow High Sierra might make good sense as @crank_addict recommends. However, my nephew says he doesn't care for the monotone black on black on black '83 Paramount. So, that's another option to dress it down to please him.

A good point worth considering.
