Something else that people dieting and exercising or just exercising forget or simply don't know is that after awhile your body starts to create more muscle. Muscle is denser than fat and therefore you can be exercising and yet gain some weight. I go by how much better I feel and the inches I lose rather than strictly by weight loss.

You know, that's a damn good point sir. Do these studies ever consider that people gain weight (or don't lose it) because they are exercising and building up muscles?
