Sequiota bike refurb

I have this type of bike in my shed (this picture is from a police auction). I got it when I was anywhere from 10-15 years old (I can't remember when we got it, sometime from 1997-2000). I currently weigh quite a bit (340 lbs) and I'm trying to decide if this bike would be worth refurbing and using it until I can save up enough money to get a good bike from one of our local bike shops. Unfortunately I'm not finding much online in terms of this bike so I can't tell what type of weight it could hold or any of its specs. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
