Me too.

Looking for that elusive segment that few ride so that I can get into the top 10 and get a little trophy. Found one on a very isolated dirt road yesterday by the name "Almost Nevada" Apparently only five others have ridden it. I got sixth place. Apparently I am slow by Strava standards.

I'm a user. It provides great information about the ride.

I admit I'm addicted to the segments also. I'm always looking to improve times on those.

the other option is ride at the right time... a few years ago I hit the top 10 on a fairly long and fast segment... it has a few stop lights that I always seem to catch... then one day I managed it without catching them AND a HUGE tailwind... at the time I think I hit 6th or something like that... this was back in '13... I haven't ridden that segment since I moved and looks like i'm down to 27th lol.

Stava Premium user here. I don't know that I get much value out of the premium service, but I use strava all the time - for biking, running, xc skiing, and just about any other outdoor activity I bother to try. I find it better in most ways than the odometer I used to have on my bike.

There is a chrome plugin called "stravistix" that adds some very nice data to your strava feed - I highly recommend it for anybody using strava.

I use it and have it linked to MyFitnessPal so when I ride it tells MFP I can eat more calories that day.
