March 2020 100+ Miles/km Thread
A few more days than February and it should be a bit warmer. My goal is 700 miles.
Post you goal if you’re so inclined.

I’m planning on riding tomorrow, but they’re forecasting rain for the rest of the week.
I’m going with 100 again this month and hope I have enough sunny days .
March Goal 100 miles .

March Goal 100
3-01 14.6
MTD 14.6

Beautiful day for riding . I saw a few other folks out .
Figured I needed to make the most of a nice day .
So, I started off with a short neighborhood ride on the Specialized Roll then switched over to my Schwinn CrossCut for a ride into town , around the lake and back .
Then I pumped up the tires on my Electra 7d Lux Fat Tire and took it on a couple mile cruise through the neighborhood. Got several comments and a thumbs up on the Fat Tire . It does seem to draw attention. .

I'm shooting for 150, if weather permits I'll blow past it but if it doesn't 150 on the trainer will be the best I can hope for. Don't know how far I went today but it was close to an hour and a half in the woods with the kids.
3/1 2.17mi on the trainer, attempted a hill climb challenge on Rouvy and my 39/28 was not low enough, gave up after 16 min.
3/2 23mi in 1h20min Long Beach to the Rockaways with wind both ways. Thought I was faster going back but same exact time both ways.
3/14 11 miles
3/15 12mi
3/16 10mi
3/21 14mi and 10mi
3/26 Estimating 5 miles; MTB ride with the kids, it was a 2 mile ride back to the car if we'd stayed on the path and we got there going the long way around and taking lots of loops.
3/27 18mi, was happy with only 3 min over an hour considering the wind I had to ride straight into and the family groups that required slowing down.
105mi so far, 150 might be hard this month.

77mi for Feb. More than Jan, less than 100 so... 100mi it is again.
Hotel this weekend had a 'bent exercycle... is it odd that using it was quite uncomfortable and a bit painful at times? Stupid thing cut off on me, so I'm not even counting that distance.

Goal is 120 miles for March
it will be difficult because for some reason I been riding my mtb and it's not a lot of miles but a lot of effort but i'm really enjoying the change

March Goals
Hoping to do about 800km total, split between indoors and outdoors.
Outdoor I'd like to get at least one, hopefully two 100-160km (60-100 mile) rides, depending on the weather (snow is still a possibility).
Mar 1: 8.75km/111m - Outdoors - Fat bike (Broke my chain trying to race, so was cut short)
Mar 2: 24.23km - Indoors
Total: 32.98km (20.443 miles)
