I'm gonna go ahead and make a bold goal for me for May... 100 miles. It will likely be split between road and Zwift, but I think its doable.

Goal: 100 miles

5/2/2020 - 7 miles (Zwift)
5/4/2020 - 8 mile (Road)

Zwift: 7 miles
Road: 8 miles
Total: 15 miles

Bikes: 2011 Fuji Absolute 3.0 -- 1997 Trek 830 (modified to hybrid)

goal for May is 300 miles. Depending on how things go in May, I should be able to increase my goal for the year, which I had set at 2100 miles, to something more than that.

May Goal: 300 miles

May 1 - 15.6 miles
May 2 - 26.4 miles
May 3 - 13.0 miles
May 4 - 26.4 miles

May to date: 75.4 miles

2020 to date: 640.9 miles

2020 goal: 2100 miles

All my miles are outdoor miles, on a 2011 Fuji Absolute 3.0 unless otherwise noted.

I thought I would show everyone some of the back roads I ride on. If this should be moved to another thread or subforum, let me know, but here is where I post the most.

Going for 300 this month, hopefully the weather cooperates. Didn't manage to tally all of last months and the weather hindered but its warm enough to start pushing myself to wake up early and ride. Even if they're not longer I'm also going to work on more then a ride a day to get in the miles since the kid rides aren't as fast.

5/2 19mi, 11mi in the morning on road, 8 miles on the trails with the kids
5/3 17mi, 8mi in the woods with kids, 9 miles cruising the neighborhood late at night.
5/5 21mi, 16mi out and back ride, 5 miles night time cruise till light gave me a red warning
5/7 5mi, night time ride,
5/9 12mi, spent an hour and a half with the kids on the mtb trails, they're getting quicker.
5/11 5 mi night ride
5/12 18 mile road ride. Wind was killer 13.5mph average going out, 22mph going back and taking my time doing so.
5/14 8 mile road ride
5/15 12 mi MTB ride, fast and fun.
5/16 13 mi with the kids

mtd 129mi

Thanks! Sooner or later things may get derailed, or at very least, slowed down. That’s why I’m piling it on early.

Mileage in FL is easier to come by than VA, where it’s quite mountainous. And there will be some travel time, etc.

So in all likelihood I’ll be relinquishing my position in the leader board to one of you guys, which will be a pleasure!
