Last night we had severe storms and over 2 inches of rain in a couple of hours, so I couldn't get out. Means I'm not quite going to get to 400, but at least the storms swept out the hot, humid weather. It was a nice 70F when I went out tonight.

Going to need a quick night ride to hit my goal. Edited to say I got it after having to clean out a Muck-Off tubeless valve version 2. Orange Seal had managed to completely seal the valve in about a week! Couldn’t get air in or out!

I did not have a goal per se but was hoping to get several longer rides in. I kind of sorta failed....I was hoping for at least 3 100+ rides and only managed 1 century. fire season has started in Montana so probably going to get smokey in a hurry. this is looking out my back door. had a several fires locally start in the last couple of days.

249 miles. Missed one ride because of bad air quality, missed 2-3 because of saddle sore. Missed goal by 51 miles. Broke 30 miles on my way to 50. I've always said I'll meet my goals as long as my body and bike cooperate. My body didn't this month. Also, I'll have to change the qualifications to 'body, bike, and air quality'. I may want to add 'weather', too.

I take my hat off to all who have met their goals this month. I send you all a hearty 'Congratulations! Keep up the good work!' I wish you good health, good mechanics, and good weather!

front door view not as good as back yard view but I can see the tallest peak in the area (9200') which i have climbed a few times. Unfortunately due to the smoke you can't see the peak today it is behind the mountains you can see.
