I can already tell there won't be many miles for me this month. I'll try to get 100.

Don’t know what the weather is going to be like the next few months but on the warm , dry days , I’ll be out there giving it my best .
I’m setting an initial goal of 60 miles , that’s 20 days riding an average of three miles.
I hope I blow my goal out and get another 100 this month .
I’d be thrilled if I do .

Looking to probably do another 300 or so. Being in Arizona, I should be able to do it.
I’m still training for El Tour de Tucson on the 18th of November.
That will be my first metric century. I am riding for a charity called Tu Nidito, which is a childrens’ grief and trauma counseling center in Tucson. If you are interested in supporting the charity, this is the link: https://www.pledgereg.com/4745/davidharris

Hoping weather holds decent this month. I actually have more evening commitments in the winter which reduce my available nights to ride.
I'll go for 300 miles. Last year I did 236.
11/2: 20.0
YTD: 2751.2
Tonight was the coldest since back in April or May, high 30's when I finished the ride.

11/4: 45.31 (PB distance), 2:47:49 rolling time - took two short breaks. Averaged 16.2mph. Took a small spill when I was stopping for my first break - front tire hit a patch of deep gravel on the edge of the road, knocked my left brifter (2018 105 stuff on the bike) a few degrees off center with small amounts of road scuffing on the lever. First time the bike has dropped.
I’m still training for El Tour de Tucson on the 18th of November - This was the last big effort day, this coming week will be about half the miles I’d been doing, then just short spins next week to keep my legs in and the big ride next Saturday. Planning to take about 4 hours with breaks.

I’ve always heard it’s not whether you’re going to have a spill , it’s when it’s going to happen.

Every month I see this (current month) 100+ Miles/km Thread and it goes on for pages. I don't get it. 100 plus the ratio of miles per kilometer is just 100.621 (to three decimal places). We could stretch the thread out with posts of more decimal places but once we get past 5, why?
(I'm not a Clyde so I won't say more. All riding is good. If we meet on the road, I'll wave.)
