Shooting for 120 miles again this month and hope I get to ride enough weather wise . This week is looking pretty good,
I need to get a head start on the month before the colder weather gets here.

80F Arizona afternoon.

Riding El Tour de Tucson 100km on the 22nd, so doing some more prep these first three weeks, including today’s kinda big ride. Goal is just to finish and not be hating life during or after. No overall mileage goal for the month, just the event ride prep, the event ride, and then archery deer hunting the rest of the month. We’ll count light hiking as recovery.

11/1: 33.66 miles, 2700’ ascent & descent, 2:47 due to the elevation changes, Allez, AZ

MTD: 33.66
YTD: 1759.58

Another beautiful morning, low to mid fifties when I started 62 when I finished.

The time change didn’t phase me. iPhone and watch that I go by , automatically changed , so I just kept to my routine.
The temperature affects me more than the time change.
Riding Single speed around the neighborhood , I would drop by the house and drop off clothes as I warmed up.
getting into winter riding mode .
Motobecane SS MTB this morning, working my way through the stable .

With cooler weather, I won't be riding as much in the early morning, which means my longer rides will be few and far between. I'm going to try for 300 miles this month.

11/03 - 10.6 miles

Would like to duplicate this day and use it this coming January and February . What a beautiful day. Sunny , light winds, and 69 degrees when I finished my ride .
Pic of some historical shed they moved outside of the town museum. I need to find out what’s so important about it .

Supposed to had been a group ride this morning on the cart paths .

The organizer and I were the only that showed. But it was still a beautiful ride finishing up in the low 70’s .
I rode another single speed MTB/cruiser Klunker conversion I put together the last couple of days . I think I’m going start calling these coffee cruisers . They’d be perfect for a coffee shop ride .
Rode awesome on the rolling cart paths.
Fall colors are in full swing!

I can already tell based on commitments and weather that I'm going to have hard time getting more than 200 miles this month, so I'll go with that.

11/3 20.0
11/6: 20.0

I’m jealous. Love the Ga coastal islands this time of year.

It was awesome! We stayed at the Jekyll Island Club and also visited St. Simons Island. The icing on the cake: offseason rates, and great weather all week!
