Dang it I need to check in here too Last June '05 I was at 195 ... what I weighed getting out of college. That took almost 4 years of effort back and forth from a high of 255. I was running, then cycling and watching what I eat.

Then I had to move to Dallas because the co. that bought me out, went bankupt, basically wiping out my life savings, to try and salvage something. I've been working 6 days a week and sinking further in debt. I went from commuting 5 days a week to longer 3 day a week rides. My milage has fallen off ... but I still rode over 4000 miles in the last year. But I can tell I 've been gaining a good amount of weight from clothes/mirror. Finally got the scale out of a moving box this evening and I'm at 235 (after a 65 mi ride)! Thats a 40 pound increase in a little over a year! :eek I didn't think I was eating that bad ... but I think I tend to graze in reaction to the stress. Plus as I push 50 the metabolisim seems to really drop off. I've got to find a way to stop it.

I'm disgusted with letting the years of hard effort slip away so quickly The only good thing is I am in pretty good condition so if I can cut the intake I hope it comes off as fast as I put it on. I am going to start weighing everyday too.

I am down from 303 in June to 260 this morning. I just found a new site called Traineo that so far has been awesome. It allows you to choose motivators to help you out plus it tracks just about everything and allows you to make cutom logs to track other things you want to track. I am all for motivating each other. If I can help anybody lose some weight I will. Plus I need all the help I can get.
