what ? only 4 gts in this thread ?
heres my little purple bomber...:
a 1993 zaskar purple ano, size 20" (actually 21-22") kinesis rigid fork, as you can see raceface cranks, post, headset, stem was changed to rf system too. 9speed xt mechs and gears, shifters lx. avid sd 7 V's (imho better than any v shimano produced - ever...) and levers, ac hubs on 517 mavic rims.
i cant emphasize how strong those old zaskar frames are -hence i own several of them. im 6ft8 and 290 lbs - it has dents and nicks and scruff and as you can see the chainstay is almost milled through (not my fault - but Im going to test it till the first hole appears ) but still stands strong. stiff as hell. although i cant advise the rf xy seatpost to any clyde (due to flex),it holds up well unto me. this is set up to be lightweight yet longlasting, and i can live with predictable flex and know when to change a post.
i worked at my LBS when i was young for several years and saw treks, and gary fs and meridas and other brands, all fine but for me gt is the thing. and if asked to choose an everlasting bike I'ld go for a gt too, but take the steel frames instead due to the repairable alloy ( not that it would be necessary) and the little more comfy ride... (hence the flexing xy and ti rail saddle...- im getting old..)

Some crappy indoor photos - I miss biking, but 10 degree mornings sort of kill my motivation.
I'll add better ones once I get outside with a camera and some above 30 degree weather.
2004 Cervelo Soloist Team & 2007 Surly Cross Check
The Cervelo needs pedals and wheels... the 16/20 spoke R600's just aren't beefy enough for my big frame. Anybody wanna buy em ??

Hello everyone! These forums continue to be a great resource; I've been away so long I almost feel like a complete newbie! Anyway, I just got a 2007 Fuji Roubaix RC - haven't even ridden it more than a mile - but I'm so excited to get out there and put some miles in! Now if only our Colorado weather would improve for more than a few days at a time, but I guess it is still winter...

But you already have YOUR pic up, in your avatar.
Hey, if you have to ride home, be careful, it looks nasty over your way.

Sweet! That La Raza is beautiful.
I'd love a BD too, but I don't know that I'd get much use out of it. Don't live in a very bicycle friendly town, and already use my trailer to make runs to the grocery store, which is about the only place I ever go to shop....

Here is my latest in progress.
I am waiting on the wheelset to arrive and it will be done. When this was taken it had on the original wheelset from my GT Zaskar, and with no shifters or grips. I cannot wait to get it finished and hit the trails with it.
