phew.. thought i was in under my head... but yeah i found some cheap wheels on craiglist that made me thought i can have a separate chain and wheel set for a ss... but then again i think i'll stick to the cheapter side of things and getting my axle replaced.. oh and the hub is fine.. i cleaned it up.. looked to see if there are any bends.. appears not to have anything. and the hub is a shimano too lol

Congrats on the new bike! i just got an old trek in good condition. other then the weight specific things I'll start customizing it when i get more proficient as a rider.

im thinking a campy chorus or centaur sealed double.. i tried the teflon tape technique too.. didnt work. but all in all my motto for this project is "love hurts"

it was the lockring on the cassette making the noise.. had my lbs fix it for 10 bucks... got some new brakes.. got new tires.. now im all set.. did another 7 mile run last night in the freakkin wind... man was that tough

okae here's a preview i just snapped.. ill set up my studio and backdrop and shoot it with my d-slr next week.
edit: i also picked up a specialized milano 175 seat today.. WHAT A DIFFERENCE ON MY ASSETS
also story for today: rode 6 miles with a friend. friends chain broke at 2.5 miles.. when i reached the 3 mile turnaround i thought i dusted him cuz i started sprinting at around 2.75 miles. went back and found out about the chain. he held on to my belt and i pedaled back th rest of the 2.5 miles draggin his ass and his heavy smith and wesson mtb.. good work out on the legs i'll tell yah!

so i've been riding pretty constantly (3-9 miles/day) and for the past 2 nights i've been hittin a speed radar bout .5 mile from my house.. last night my best was 29 mph before the cops started getting suspicious and the night before it was 30mph.. here is a vid from last night
