Actually, I get up to the Fort from time to time.....

I ride out in the Aboite Township area when I do. I'll shoot you a PM the next time I'll be up that way.

We can do Bass Road out to Whitley County or something, or a Century+ day by doing a loop to Lake Wawasee and back.

Yes, in Aboite, about 1.5 mile east of high school.

Behind in my training, (wife had surgery and taking care off), last Century I road was 30years ago, but expect to be able to do the Columbia City loop without trouble, just not certain can keep your pace with current rider.

Still would love to meet and greet, and handle a casual run.

Well, I pace according to who I ride with. Right now, I'm moving pretty slow as well.....recovering from a nasty crash. You might be faster than me.

I'll shoot you a PM when I'll next be in the area.

Maybe grab some coffee as well, there's that little Coffee Shop in the Complex across from Scott Foods on 14, pretty decent in house roasting

Stick me down for Okinawa Japan. And in case anyone is wondering since I departed Clyde status a few months ago I'm down about 15 lbs from that now.

I'm still very much a Clyde though.

I think you already got me, thanks Tom

Massapequa, NY 11758

BTW, I'm a transplanted Hoosier (though I hate to admit it) and spent some time on Lake Wawasee as a teen when my father decided we'd all take up sailing. Great fun!

Oh really, when? I grew up there on Wawasee. I raced E and A scows and a P-Cat, as well as a Lightning.

Cool, we had a McGregor 26' (not the motor/sail hybrid version, the predecessor of that boat), this would have been the mid 90's. I love E scows though and always dreamed of having one. A catamaran would be nice as well. I loved and miss sailing very much. I wish I could remember the name of the yacht club out there, but we had a great time. I was in Elkhart for most of my later childhood/teen years.

Wawasee Yacht Club, or the Crow's Nest?

I left permanent residence up at the lake in 77.
