First century completed

Guys and Girls,

First let me thank all of the members of this Clydes / Athenas board for the excellent advice. I would not have been able to come as far as fast without all of you. I was a little panicked yesterday as the temps were dropping and I was not prepared. My feet were very cold today everything else was OK. I used a pair of running gloves over my half cycling gloves to keep the hands warm. Anyways here are my stats:

Miles 100.6
5hrs. 48.5 minutes total time
5hrs. 48.5 minutes time in the saddle (no stops)
ave 17.3 MPH
Ave HR 132 max 164
Calories burned 4368 (polar f6)

I am very happy with my ride it was beautiful with the trees changing colors and the clear crisp air of fall. I felt strong even at the end.

Again I can't thank you all enough for your wisdom and advice. Now I am going to throw some steaks on the grill and wash them down with a couple of Silver Bullets.

Hey Chevy57! Congrats!

Was it hilly?...that's a pretty good speed....did you go it alone or in a group?

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Save this image and print it. Frame it and hang it on the wall! Congratulations on the milestone!

This was an unsupported ride I did on my own. I used mapmyride to plan and my bike computer and heart rate monitor for the actuals. The route is pretty flat until the half way point. The sign on the road said trucks use low gear hill next 4 miles. This one sucked, but it was the only real hill. I rode Binghamton NY to Ithaca NY. Thanks to all for your kind words and Tom for the certificate.
