Hooray for Mrs. Hill-Pumper!!!

I just have to share this with you guy (and gals too). My wife started on the a new nutrition plan and walking for exercise a couple of weeks ago. She told me this morning that she has dropped 10 pounds in 2 weeks. She told me that I was the one that inspired her by all my biking and eating right. That took my by surprise, but I am glad that leading by example worked. I have had heath concerns about her weight for quite some time, but did not know how to bring it up with out hurting her feelings. The nice side benefit is that she is not buying the junk food, so I am not temped to get into it anymore. So, Hooray for Mrs. Hill-Pumper!!!

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Tell her congrats on the healthy choices from me! Good on her! Both of you working together will also make things easier on BOTH of you, too.

Good to hear that. I am happy for both of you and agree that now you need to get her a bike.

There is nothing more that I would enjoy, but she really is not to sure about the bike. She just loves to walk, plus she can do it with her mom and our kids. Maybe some day though, a bike for her from the magical bike fairy god mother will appear.
