5 lbs at a time is the goal...ultimately 20-25
I was 219 at largest, got down to 196
With beta blockers and later calcium-channel blockers and injuries that kept me off the bike, I got back back up to 209.
Have been reeling it back in recently to 204-206.
Waistline is still about the same, did add some upper body muscle from doing lotsa pushups until it/weight training/surfing/cycling re-aggravated my cervical disk herniations.
Not eating so much during work stress and getting home / late evenings is primary challenge.
