Cool video. I like the way you mix in the voice at the end into the music. Is that in the soundtrack or is it something you mix in? If so, what program?

Another winter ride, cold by our standards but nothing compared to yours. Not many riders out.

Happy commute Rover.
I would like to have your winter ride Beanz, what an awesome trail and partner. The voice was the actual forecast from NOAA https://www.weather.gov/nwr/streamaudio.htm.
I am a lucky man as Santa brought me the camera.

If you want a cheapo alternative, Ive had good luck with the following - 1 hour battery life, charges via USB, "HD" (720x420), stereo audio.

https://cgi.ebay.com/808-3-Spy-Camera...item230cf3f4c6

I know it s not as nice as the "Go Pro's" but the finished videos are pretty decent - all for $10. Also, the camera is the size of a keyring and fits snugly between the vents of my helmet. I highly recommend the camera!

I would upload a video but the files are over 1 GB in size - how do you "Go Pro" guys upload your videos?

I don;t knwo about the go pro but withmy flip and the new 2011 window movie maker program, the laod time is cut in half. The Flip is called Rapid share, not sur aobut the WMmaker.

But if I load a vid from my documents into youtube, it takes 10 minutes for every one minute of video.

If I open the video and load it to the net with either of these two programs, it loads much faster, 5 minutes for every one minute of video. SO what used to take me 40 minutes, now only takes 20 to load into youtube.

If that means anything

Sure does - thanks for the info. Sounds like I need to try WMMaker - I will go ahead and see if I can get a couple minute clip up for comparison. Im sure your guys videos will be way nicer but I will put it up for "giggles"

The latest is WMMaker 2011 (I'm using). I 've never used the old Movie maker so I don't know if it has the same rapid load feature.

I just remembered that I had this video of when I first got the $10 camera. I taped it to an RC plane. Not bike related but you can see how it performs. I lowered the original size/quality using WinMovMaker...

I think its pretty good value for $10!

Aha! - Thank you sir! I was using the <embed. tag

The video should be working now in my previous post:
Please ignore the date - I forgot to set it.
The quality is way better in the original - YouTube/MovieMaker degrades the quality
Camera is only $10

Wow, that's pretty darn great for $10!.......I would say that the video scared the poop out of me. I was expecting to see a plane take of. Instead I'm looking at a chicken when the motor revs up. For a second there, I thought it was a chicken with turbo boost hahaha!

Wow, looking at the link, that is some SPY camera.

Thanks -

Fortunately I am a better cyclist than a pilot - I think

Thanks for the help. I hope the video helps for comparisons. Itd be cool if we had a thread of comparable video's of different cams. Its a big investment after all!
