OK, FTU, the ride was 4300 feet in 17 miles for the climb, so the pic is at the top of it all.

That works great around town, but my road bike isn't made for fenders and rain takes all the fun out of a climbing ride.
By the way, I actually made two videos with music on them:

I didn't get any comments from you on either one. You're slackin'

In the winter months, there is snow up here. It's not rare, just that we don't ride up into it with roadies. I did a video last year where we hit ice and my wheels started slipping so we turned back. Also other videos about 1 1/2 years ago, snow on the side of the road. But we headed up well afer the rain. It melts fast once the sun comes out but it does snow up here in the winter.
The mountains can be covered with snow then gone two days later. Some well known hiker just died up there a couple months back, got lost in the snow.
March 10 of 2010..rode till we hit snow then turned back
Feb of 2010, still some snow left once we hit 4500 feet. This was after it melted
Ride report from another SoCal poster that rides this mountain

This was last month
3 of the pics included in his report...same road...GMR

Forgot about this one. Here's some more music for ya
EDIT: Deleted music video from YouTube to prevent any copyright strikes. 3 strikes and you're out according to YouTube. I have a clean record and would like to keep it that way.
