Hardest job in the world...but I'll bet it's rewarding.

Me...my main j-o-b is working for a very small printing company. My boss and I pretty much job-share. We do all of the estimating, prepress work and digital output. The other owner does admin and bindery. We have one offset press operator. We're all women, which is kind of nice. I'm also a potter, making mostly functional work, and some sculpture. I've been a puppet builder for years, but I don't do much puppetry, anymore. I'm hoping the pottery will take me into some sort of retirement and I don't have to go live under a bridge.

RA worker here at a store that sells computer parts.
Half my time is spent trouble shooting the other half arguing legal rights of customers with Suppliers and the other half arguing with customers that just because they are brain damaged does not give them extra warranty....... something wrong with my calculations there.

So you are the one who delivers those plastic toys with the balls. Here suck this tube and make all the balls move-that hurts!

My j-o-b for the last 10+ years is attempting to share knowledge and develop wisdom in young people. OK, I'm an ESL/EFL and social studies teacher. 7 years grades 7-9 inner city Houston, and currently 3+ years in Taiwan public schools. I don't know which place's city streets are worse for riding a bike.

There is a lab (box on the trailer) a heat exchanger (silver horizontal tank), a separator (vertical tank in the center), a surge tank (horizontal tank on the trailer), and an atmospheric tank (vertical tank in the background). It is all surface well test equipment, basically I design the equipment used to take the first sample of a well and determine its composition.

I'm a telecommunications technician for the Florida Forest Service. Regardless of what it sounds like, I mostly install, maintain and repair the VHF radio system that is the backbone of our communications network. The Florida Forest Service is mostly involved in putting out forest fires and dealing in mitigating wildfires in the area where I work in South Florida. I also work with telephone systems, wired and wireless, and computers and data communications, battery backups, all the technical stuff that keeps the service talking. Its a great job that I started about four months ago, and I'm really digging on it.
