Garmin HRM strap. Does it fit?

I'm about to buy an Edge 305 & the HRM strap, does any of you fellow fat asses have problems with the strap? Does it fit Clydes or was it designed with the guys from the road bikes forum section, that considers themselves heavy riders at 180lbs.

The HRM strap fits great. I have it at almost the end of its adjustment, but it adjust out to accommodate pretty large chest. The question is, How big a boy are ya? BTW, I'm 6'2" at 300lbs, but I carry my weight well.

I'm 6'1" and 284lbs so far... glad to know it should work, I didn't see sizing information for the strap. I'm thinking of buying the GPS+cadence sensor from ebay and then the HRM strap from amazon. at least if doesn't fit amazon takes it back no questions asked. But then I would still need to find some other strap that works because it makes no sense for me to buy the edge if I can't have the HRM. I already have cadence on my soon to be retired cateye

I had a 54" chest at the beginning and while the strap was snug, it fit without much problem. Much of the strap is simple elastic, so it is possible to cut it and sew in some additional elastic to make it as wide as you need.

I've got the Garmin Premium strap, fits fine.

Though I use a Polar premium strap with the garmin HRM because it's got little cloth pads that retain water and help retain conductivity for longer periods than the garmins' solid pads do.

I'm 5"8, about 275, but I was right at about 300 when I got my Garmin with the HRM and it fit me fine.
