PSA: Cheap merino wool tops, but only for Clydes

I need another short sleeved merino tee shirt or two, for summer bike commuting. I saw this on the "sale rack;" it's too big to fit me, but it's a great deal, and I thought I'd share. Or shill. I don't have any connection with this company, except for having bought stuff from them before. They have a generous return policy.

Anyway, they only have these in XXL and XXXL. They're $24 each! These are hiking base layers, not cycling jerseys, and so they have no pockets. They probably won't be useful until the winter. If they had smaller sizes, I'd snatch one up now and happily bring it out in October, though.

I'm thinking of getting one anyway, cutting the sleeves off, and using them as arm warmers. ( Thoughts or advice? )

Good eye! Minus 33 stuff is sturdy, comfy and more affordable compared to the costlier Ibex/Icebreaker stuff. I'm still kicking myself for not buying their merino hoody last year. I waited too long and now they've discontinued it. The only problem is I don't like turtlenecks cuz it draws attention to my double chin and lack of neck.
