I own 2 Ibex merino wool biking jerseys (a long and short sleeve) and really like them. They were the only upper body wear I took on my last tour.
Ibex is having a sale and they've discounted their Giro Montana (short sleeve) jersey from $145 to $87. While still not cheap, it is a great price for a wool jersey.
