Snow day pics

Here in Western Washington, it doesn't take much snow to cause chaos, confusion, and despair; so they don't hesitate to close all the schools and many (well, my) workplace.

I don't get out on the Cannondale too often anymore, so I thought that I'd try out this snow riding thing...

Only did a mile or so around my neighborhood, but I can see where that could be a lot of fun with more appropriate tires.

Cool pix but I hate snow and cold! I went to high school in Alaska and
all I can say is the best view of Anchorage is the one in the rearview mirror.

Im over in Woodinville, WA. Its a work at home day. Much better than driving in. It took me 90 mins to commute 15 miles yesterday! Im demoted to riding the trainer -too much snow. This is our "road" and as of 5 mins ago, its still coming down.

It actually was a lot of fun Beanz! I got sideways a few times going down hills, but was able to not only bring myself back upright, but to control the whole sideways thing to the point that I started doing it on purpose when the wife came outside. Being as that showing off is often the first step toward the ER, I'm surprised/glad to be sitting here unscathed.

Ooh, no, you can keep it... Thanks though

Maybe we can invent some sort of track system for bikes.

Bikes: none

Won't catch me out in the snow...I have a hard enough time staying on my own two feet walking on it!

My cousin rode his bike in the snow when we were kids...he hit an ice patch, went down hard and I heard the bone CRACK! Broken humerus...he was out of commission for 2 months...just when spring was hitting he was able to get his cast removed...but because he had atrophy in the muscle, wasn't back to himself until the summer.

Enjoy I love riding in the snow. I Have studs and some CX tires for the SS and run studs all winter on the trucker.

We got 3-4" Sat while I was out...made for a fun ride home. Glad I had the studs on
