With only 450 or so this year I'm in for a 200 mile 10k foot gain month.

01 March - didn't go far but went up. 13.6 miles/1434' gain. I'll take that in 72 minutes.
03 March - Another ride/climb across the Appalachians. 19.4 miles

MTD - 33miles/3081'
YTD - 492miles/20702'

Another ride with Mrs Contango today... had her first encounted with a to$$er in a van who nearly ran us off the road. Aside from that it was a good ride, a few hills she chewed up easily enough.

01 March - 31 miles

MTD - 31 miles
YTD - 624 miles

I'm shooting for 300. Have at least one weekend already scheduled for a camping trip. Shooting for 1 40 mile ride and 1 50 miler plus normal commute and longer afternoon rides. I should have little problems meeting this goal as long as the weather cooperates and this latest snow melts.

Been in the bed the last 2 days with the stomach bug but had to get out in the beautiful 70 degree sunshine today!
I'll go for 250 miles this month. I'd love to get 300 but I'm trying to be realistic after the paltry miles the last couple of months.

Mar.1: 13 mi

237 to go(al)

I'm in for 100 plus; although still waiting for a 50 plus degree day without 30 mph wind gusts. 50 for the year and 0 for March.

No, I am going to try to do at least 400 miles a month in the summer as I will be up north. The spring and fall will be my slow seasons. I didn't ride at all for two months this fall (mid Oct to mid Dec because I was far north and the weather was prohibitive). In the spring I travel a lot chasing birds so starting this month my riding is going to be limited. I do have a 67 mile ride scheduled for June 2 in northern Minnesota so I hope that I get enough riding in to be prepared!

Today there are wind advisories with sustained winds of 30mph and gusts to 50. No riding or me except to the garbage can and back!
