Anyone lower their high blood sugar by biking?

In September 2014, I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. My A1C was 8.9, and I weighed 241. I went low carb, high fat, and lost 50 lbs and I still struggled to keep my blood sugar under 100. I found biking, and now I am consistently under 100. My last A1c test was 4.7. my blood sugar is always lower the day after I ride. I'd much rather spend time on my bike than taking Metformin or any other diabetic drugs.

Amen! The only way to lower your blood sugar and AC1 is a high fat low to no carb diet.
Today before I rode I had a cup of bullet coffee (butter and coconut oil blended in coffee) and a couple of eggs and I never felt stronger riding. After I rode I tested my blood sugar and it was under 100 and I felt great.
Just saying.

At my physical today, the nurse practitioner was AMAZED!!

Question;
I noticed that whenever I do some activity around the yard, not even close to excersize, and for a short time, my blood sugar goes lower, which is good and expected.
But when I spend a bit more time like an hour or more my sugar goes up by about 20 points.
Whatsup with that?
And that before any meals in the morning.

Biking works best for me as opposed to walking as walking you can either stop or slow down to catch your breath and recover. Biking I can coast, change gears, slow or speed up my cadence (faster cadence in higher gear for climbing hills), and even if I stop my body moving I can maintain forward momentum.
The biggest tool in my biking other than diet is the heart rate monitor so when I start feeling funky (out of breath, light headed) I can look and see that I just need to make an adjustment and recover for a bit.
I just did a 17 mile ride keeping my heart rate down (that was my focus) and fueled only by coffee. My glucose right now is 115.
Get the bike you would want to ride, upgrade the wheels and go riding.
