Last night I fully intended on getting up early and riding my bike to get groceries... a gentle ride of 3 miles each way.

Today I didn't get out of bed until 11:00 am and rain is lightly sprinkling down so I'm sloughing off and taking the car to the grocery store.

I'm disappointed in myself, but not enough to put on my rain gear and kick my butt to get on the bike.

Same lack of guts and determination holds me up in other ways.

I know, I know. I'm the only one that can do anything about it.

Everyday I say I'm going to get up early and work out...everyday I fail. Sleep is too important.

After a mini vacation and then bike maintenance the last two days, I'm finally ready to put some miles in tonight tho!

You know... for me, half the battle just gearing up. Once I get the shorts & jersey on, I'm 99% likely to go for a ride. It's unbelievable how much inertia I have to over come sometimes to get that kit on though.
