Should be on track to get my 250.

Spouse fell on his bike yesterday and dislocated a finger. He relocated it. Of course, he won't see a doctor. Pain kept him awake most of the night. Today he is going to be difficult to live with.

I need to set up the speedometer/odometer on the back wheel. The weather has been hit and miss and I've been busy nights, so I've been on the bike trainer for 1 hour - 3 days/week. I can't tell how far that is, but my cadence is increasing. Based on my estimate of cadence and gearing I'm somewhere in the 15-18 mile range per day. So x 3 days x 4 weeks should get me to 200 mile range by end of month.

4/26: 30.5 with a big tailwind. There was about a half a mile with a cross wind and I almost had to get off my bike as I was all over the road.

Life has been working hard to keep me from my goal this month as of this morning I was at 67mile . But I had the day off and a map th get to a trail access on the little miami scenic trail plan was to ride north till I got to the point I thought I had just enough gas to get back . When I turned around and headed back my cyclometer said 20.09 added 40 miles today for a total of 107 m.t.d and my longest ride in 25 years

Plumberroy, Where was that picture taken at? Its a nice view. I ride the little Miami trail, usually starting in Loveland, usually heading into lebanon, but sometimes I go south.

Today I went 10.1 miles (first ride with clipless pedals), for a MTD total of 100.3

My goal was 100, so that goal is accomplished, and I'll hopefully add 30 more miles this month. I also joined the Strava challenge for may of 250km, or 156 miles, but I'm going to set a goal of 175 miles.

It was taken about 1 1/2 - 2 miles north of morrow off one of those little bridges I left from miami township riverview park rode north . I stopped at the little park as you get into Morrow and ate lunch then rode about 5 more miles north. It was a little cool but a nice ride

where I turned around stood and watched the river for a while

Plan on going a little farther that way next time

OK, thats a pretty scenic trail. I've only been as far north as Stubbs mill road on the trail, so I must have just missed that section.

4/26 - 9.73 Took a short ride to try out a saddle. Doing the LBS' saddle trial program. This one Fizik Antares is ok. Definitely a better fit but not sure it's The One. I'm possibly going to do a metric on 5/18 (committed to the mini-metric 35 miler but I can upgrade) so I want to get something dialed in before then. Also upgraded to Look KEO Plus pedals and Shimano R315 shoes. It's only money and I can't take it to my grave. The mileage is actually short by some. Wheel magnet got moved (maybe caught on something yesterday at the LBS) and was too far away from the pickup. I was getting zero speed then spiking to 18-20 MPH. I know I lost .25 out of 1.25 mile on the trail (it's marked.)

MTD - 303.36
YTD - 410.59

Made it to just over 350 miles for April today and a little over one thousand miles for the year so far. I've still got nearly 70 miles minimum ahead of me just commuting to school and work for the rest of April. Looks like I'll make at least 425 miles for the month!

Road 12.8 miles on 4/21 with a strong head wind. Still averaged 12.7 mph.

Road the same ride today with a little less wind and averaged 13.8. Pretty happy.

94.7/120 - MTD
145.2/1000 - YTD
