Have any Clydes had firsthand experience with a carbon fiber component failure?

I currently ride a Felt B16 with Zipp 404f/808r and have no issues(Carbon on carbon). Currently at 270lbs and it withstood a 70.3 half ironman just fine.

I've been on carbon since 2007 with no issues at all. Between 195-305lbs, I did break a steel MTB at bottom braket, no warning just POP!! Didn't go down and had a nice walk out of the forest. I have a friend who repairs carbon and have seen all makes and models go through his house and most are from guys who either race or ride a lot and for the most part non clydes. Racing is way harder on frames than being a clyde. All aspects of riding have dangers involved, riding around cars, bad drivers, bad riders, high speeds, road debris, dogs, trees..... they are all risks and are way more likely to hurt us than our frame breaking. Pick what you like and have fun.
