Give these a try. Forté Road Puncture Resistant Presta Tube 700c x 23-26

My bro has been riding for 10+ years and swears by them. Once my current ones die I have replacements on the shelf. They seem to be about 4-5 times thicker than the standard tubes.

We've got crappy weather right now, so no riding for me today. But I went back and looked at the mileage from this time last year and in the first 20 days of January 2015, I've ridden more than I did in the first 3.5 months in 2014 That got me fired up to get back on the bike when the weather clears.

This is my first month with a computer that I installed after about 4 or 5 rides.

MTD 100mi exactly (by the computer)

I usually so 300+

My new shoes, cleats, pedals and sunglasses are days away.

I think I can still do 300mi.

Here in No. CA we are on track to have the driest January since official records began, which was in 1877. Only .01 inch has fallen this month so far in Sacramento and 10 day forecast is 0% chance of rain. Makes for great Winter cycling and easy to pile on the training miles, but we can really use the water.

To make matters worse the US Supreme court rejected the delta smelt appeal a few weeks ago. Looks like we will be dumping another 20 billion gallons of water into the ocean again this year.. I hope the smelt appreciate it.

The Tour of Sufferlandria has officially started. I've yet to start stage 1 however unless I abandon the tour or get a wild hair and decide to ride to the Pub it is unlikely I will get anymore outdoor miles this month.

Way to go! You are half way to Knighthood! You could do it... just saying.

Last night I did stage one of the Tour of Sufferlandria: Elements of Style followed by The Long Scream. It was all of that. I hate TT!

Stage 2 is Blender, later today.

Thanks!

Not ready for the full 10 videos... today was kind of a test run though! My previous longest session has been ISLAGIATT at 2 hours... so no real need to worry about fueling or hydration... used today's little jaunt to see what will work for me..
