Anyone try Conti Contact tires??
Sorry for another tire question...
Has anyone tried the Continental Contact series tires? I'm considering the Sport Contact 26 x 1.6 for my commuter. Right now I'm using the Conti Town & Country - love the feel, too many flats. I read the posts about the Specialized Nimbus, but my LBS that carries Specialized doesn't seem to know about them (??) - tried to get me in the Hemispheres at $60 CDN a piece. There's an online store that sells Continentals I wouldn't mind trying.
So - has anyone tried them with any luck?
Thanks...and again, I apologize, but I'm VERY tired of fixing flats. I try to avoid glass, but its everywhere in Regina (must be a local sport).

Three times? I haven't managed to flat mine at all - not even when I skidded a whole slab of the carcass right down to the canvas. Sounds like you got the same luck with them that I do with Paselas!
FWIW, I run the 1.3 Sport Contact for a high-mileage commuter, it's fast, grippy, and very flat-resistant. The ride is livelier than the Nimbus.

I have about a 1000 miles on my specialized nimbus, no flats. Not the liveliest ride, but my main concern for commuting is not to change a flat tire. I am running 700X28.

I'm running Conti Top Touring 2000 on the rear. No flats, but it seems the tread is wearing quickly.

i have yet to wear one out from mileage, and i'd guess the most used one is at 7500+ all on the back wheel with no signs of needing replacement yet.
so the top touring are awesome in my book, but i have no idea if they make a 26" version...
